Our Company

The Little Opera Company (LOCO) is a seasonal performing arts group based in Charlotte, NC, that presents offbeat productions of classic operas. Founded on the belief that opera is for everyone, LOCO combines energetic acting and fine singing with creatively reimagined productions to make opera enjoyable for all.

Our Mission

Opera is theater, and there's no reason you should have less of a good time at an opera than at another stage show. Our mission is to make sure the audience is enjoying themselves. One of the ways we do that is to make sure our acting never takes a back seat to our singing.

Our Artists

Our artists are local singers pursuing careers in opera. Many of them also perform with Opera Carolina as young artists, with the CPCC Opera Theatre, or with other regional companies.
